Obituary

On March 21, 2020, Ruth May Hanft, of Woodbine and formerly of Ellicott City, beloved wife of the late George Hanft, cherished mother of George Hanft, Jr. and his wife Judy and JoAnn Charlton, loving grandmother of Ryan Hanft, great grandmother of Jace and Jack.

A private graveside service was held at St. Johns Cemetery in Ellicott City.

Ruthie,
I will never forget our years together at Montgomery Ward on Geipe Rd. We had lots of laughs together. You were always such a sweet and kind lady. Your pain is over now. May you Rest In Peace for eternity. You deserve it.

I loved Miss Ruth. I waited on her and her family at Sandwiches by George, from 1982 until 1995. She wasnv one of the sweetest lady's I ever met. The laughter we shared and memories. I will never forget.
