Obituary

Mrs. Karen Cecelia Robinson Cepko (also known as Mom, Good Girl, and Grandmommy), age 83, of Catonsville, passed away Monday morning, September 16, 2019, at her residence. She was born November 17, 1935, in Akron, Ohio by Mr. Lloyd Augustus and Mrs. Christine Ann Gentes Robinson.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jack E. Cepko. Karen was cheerfully devoted to her two children: John Cepko (married to Virginia Cepko) and Cecilia “Lee” Stum (married to “Denny” Stum); grandchildren: Melissa, Carrie, and Ashley Barbagallo, and Paul and Kalena Cepko; and great-grandchildren: Bentley, Bryce, and Brody Schmidt.

Karen made a positive impact on everyone she met with her glowing smile, loquacious stories, historical knowledge, and comedic personality that lit up any room she entered. She loved traveling, reading, and learning new things. She will be greatly missed and remembered through the amorous memories her family and friends will continue to cherish.

Respects can be paid on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 11am (Viewing) and 12pm (Service) at Our Lady of the Angel’s Chapel at Charlestown (711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville), which will be followed by a processional with burial at St. John’s Cemetery and reception to follow.

If you desire, please donate to: American Lung Association (www.action.lung.org), American Heart Association (www2.heart.org), Washington, DC's Children's National Hospital (childrensnational.org/giving), or your local SPCA. If you choose to send flowers, please deliver to the Chapel noted above.
