Jill Ann Stahl of Baltimore, Maryland passed away peacefully on January 11, 2020. She was 72.

She was the daughter of Wilbur and Leola Wright and the beloved mother of Christopher, Cameron Falkenhagen (Kimberly) and Ashley Stahl (Joey), step-daughter Eydie Falkenhagen, loving sister of Judy Prose, adoring grandmother of Lauren Falkenhagen, Kane, Victoria and Brooklyn Jamison.

Jill was born in Saginaw, Michigan and grew up in Holly, Michigan. She graduated from Holly High School in 1965. While summering with friends at Lake Huron she met and married her first husband Evan Falkenhagen in 1966.

In 1979, she earned her nursing degree with honors from Charles County Community College. She was a dedicated and highly respected registered nurse specializing in several fields of medicine and case management for 40 years.

She was an avid reader, traveler and sports fan, especially the Baltimore Ravens. Jill was a champion for animal rescue and provided for numerous cats and dogs and donated graciously and extensively to numerous charitable organizations.

Jill enjoyed the beach, history, classic movies and horses. With an intrinsic spirit she always expanded her knowledge and explored the world’s cultures, customs and religions.

She also lived in Southern Maryland, Texas and North Carolina touching and affecting countless lives. She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered by all especially her longtime loyal friend Jane Badger and many, many others.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jill Stahl’s name may be directed to the ASPCA ( ) or to Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter ( ). Condolences may be left for the family at A link can also be found at

I was so sorry to hear of Jill's passing. As a lifelong friend, I will miss her and her zest for life. I know that she will be in heaven and sharing that same passion and enthusiasm to all she meets. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and her friends that she left behind, especially Chris, Cam and Judy. God bless you all.

Please accept my deepest condolences Stahl Family. I hold many wonderful memories of Jill from So. Md. Hospital Center. Jill had a beautiful sweet soul with a heart of gold always available as a valuable team player. May she rest in peace and her love for each of you help you through this time.
