When I was an officer with Howard County many years ago, I would call out on foot patrol on Frederick Road around 12:30 and I would be sitting up in Miss Essie house watching the soap operas with her. For lunch, hot fried chicken that she had just cooked and we would talk about the characters on the soaps. Rest In Peace, Mama Essie
