Seeing sweet Anita at the Catonsville Senior Center where she attended Yoga classes and worked out at the Fitness Center made a lot of us smile. Attached is my photo of her seated at her sewing machine taking a call from her family during my photo shoot for a photo storytelling class I was taking. Another member commented that she looked like she was in her happy place in the photo. Anita graciously invited me into her home and posed at her multiple sewing machines with her multiple sewing projects from her dining room to her laundry room! One of the stories Anita shared was that when she and her husband built their home on the same road as several other family members did likewise, the postman referred to the street at Little Italy because everyone on the road spoke Italian. I and other members of the Senior Center will miss her and send our condolences to her wonderful family who we saw as encouraging and helping her stay fit and maintain a high quality of life that I admired so much.

I am so sorry to hear/read of the your loss of your family matriarch, Ms. Anita. I met her at the Catonsville Senior Center as a monitor in the Fitness Center. It was an inspiration to watch her get on the Treadmill, the Elliptical machine and then go to yoga class. Our conversations were very meaningful because she was such a pleasant person to listen to. When the center opens back up, I will surely miss her coming. Please know that my heart is heavy and that prayers are being sent to you.
